We haven’t gotten around at properly digesting Hujan’s latest release, ‘Sang Enemy’, but judging from their latest music video / single, ‘Rumah Kita’ (which translates to ‘our house’ in English), Hujan is one very adaptable band (musically) and aren’t afraid of venturing into new territories. We can’t deny the fact that the band is technically very proficient, and with ‘Rumah Kita’, they’ve shed their signature jazz influenced indie sound, favoring a slightly heavier stance. Strangely enough, Noh’s songwriting is as strong as ever, making ‘Rumah Kita’ into a possible big stage favorite for the masses.
