Are you a fan of Teenage Fanclub? Or Gorky’s Zygotic Mynci? If you love them both, then be prepared to get all giddily excited as former Gorky’s singer Euros Childs and Teenage Fanclub melody master Norman Blake have teamed up to form a new project called ‘Jonny’. They’ve just released a free EP, suitably called “Free EP”, which you can download from the link below. To these ears, the EP sounds like it would be perfectly at home on the now defunct Scottish label Shoeshine Records with its obvious Scottish pop stylings and that always welcomed little dash of The Beach Boys. A full album will be coming out in January next year.
