Upfront presents Erlend Øye & The Rainbows | RM98 (Presale), RM128 (Door)
Norwegian singer-songwriter Erlend Øye (of Kings Of Convenience / The Whitest Boy Alive) is back in KL for a show tonight at The Bee in Publika, with his backing band The Rainbows, to promote his solo album, Legao.
Friday (27 March)
Minut Init presents A Hip Hop, Funk & Soul Spectacular | RM20 (1 Free Drink)
Art gallery Minut Init will be hosting a night dedicated to hip-hop, funk, and soul, with DJ performances by Random K.I.D & Lemm, alongside one of KL’s hip hop queens, Arabyrd, with visuals by Ito and ZMNYN.
Saturday (28 March)
ALT HQ Final Saturday | RM30
It is unfortunate to see yet another live music venue closing its doors here in Kuala Lumpur, especially one that is located in the heart of the city. And to celebrate their departure, the owners will be hosting a weekend of shows, as a final goodbye. This coming Saturday, will see the venue host Noh Salleh (with his backing band, Restoe Iboe Band), and Bittersweet, a double indie-rock powerhouse with an opening performance by Beatburns. Tickets are limited (300 pax).
EPIC Tribe pres. NAMASTÉ – 7th YEAR ANNIVERSARY @ UNDER9 KL | RM15, RM20 (After Midnight)
One of Malaysia’s leading psychedelic culture, music, and arts promoter, EPIC Tribe, will be celebrating their 7th year at Under9 in Kuala Lumpur this weekend, with performances by and international lineup, and a visual feast for the senses.
Sunday (29 March)
In collaboration with BIG Group and JUICE Magazine, Piring-Piring will be our first event for the year, celebrating our love for vinyl records and food. The event will see a curated list of music selectors, featuring Arabyrd, Aggroboss Soundsystem, and alijo (of Killeur Calculateur). The event will include intimate rooftop performances by Liyana Fizi, and The Fridays.
