Serious Play Improv Lab (SPIL011)

An art laboratory series for musicians, artists, and performers, Serious Play Improv Lab (SPILL011) is a night of experimental music and improvisation. Each performer of the night will first perform a short solo set, and improvise together at the end of the night. This week’s performers includes OG Azril, Fadhil Zulkifri, Jerk Kerouac, Yong Yandsen, and Kok Siew Wai.

Je Ne Sais Quoai (Malam Avant Garde)



If you’re heading towards Uptown, in Damansara Jaya, don’t miss this night of experimental and pop music at one of our new favorite venues this side of Klang Valley, Minut Unit. The art gallery / space will be hosting the a mix of veteran and up-coming performers, featuring Fizul & M (former vocalist of TWKUA), Gnurr, Goh Lee Kwang, and many more. The night will continue with an after party, with music selected by DJ Bawang.

Swing over to Subang Jaya this Saturday, 18th of April, for the Record Store Day celebrations over at Teenage Head Records, with special releases and performances by Liyana Fizi, Blind Lennon, Mystery Tapes, Elektone (SG), and catch the return of Naza (of The Times) with Naza & The Kick Asteroids. The day will also include DJ’s Oddjobb and DJ Ribut 10:59.

Tandang Store, Ampang


Tucked right above Rumah Api, Tandang Store will be hosting a full day of performances, kicking off at 3pm with acoustic performances by The Garrison and The Fridays, with full full performances starting at 7:30pm featuring Disabuse (PH), Commit Arson (PH), Unholy Smokers, The Mindless Show, and Mass Separation.
