Pekan Frinjan 17 happens this month, with a more punk rock looking line-up of performers including our favourites Dum Dum Tak alongside Stick No Bill, Orkes Rakyat Tertindas, Soul Savior, Rocking Queen and more. The famous Bijou Bazaar people have also joined in to organise the bazaar section of the event, so this event should have something for both the smelly boys and them fashionable girls. For those looking to buy the Kuala Lumpur, Aku Okay book, its pre-launch is also happening here, with an initial limited edition pressing of 50 copies going on sale on the day.

The event starts at 5pm till 12pm on Saturday, 12th February 2011 at Laman Menara Jam, Dataran Shah Alam. As usual, there’s no entry fee whatsoever. Do check out the event’s Facebook page for more info.

All the way from Indonesia, Efek Rumah Kaca, well known for their social political leanings will be coming to KL at the end of Feb 2010. Brought to you by Oxygen Media, Frinjan & Envelove Distro, the band will be playing 2 shows in KL, one at One cafe and another acoustic / discussion (also know as diskustik) set at Annexe Gallery.

Opening for them at One Cafe will be Nao, Couple, Deepset, Dum Dum Tak, Free Love and Bit the Medusa.

Presale tickets for the show are now available at RM25, and will be RM35 at the door.
